YASMAINE SHORTELL
Died May 25, 2009

 Yasmaine T. Shortell, 59, of Forks Township, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born: April 6, 1950 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Barbara Haddad Jabeir.

Personal: Her husband, Thomas J., died Feb. 4, 1997. Yasmaine last worked as diagnostic supervisor in the radiology department of Easton Hospital where she was employed for 39 years. She was a 1968 graduate of Notre Dame High School and Easton Hospital School of Radiology in 1970. Yasmaine was most proud of her children.  Her memory will be kept alive forever in the hearts of her loving family.

Memberships: She was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, Easton and its St. Theresa Soldality.  She was also a member of the American Registry of Radiology Technicians.

Survivors: a son, Thomas M. of Mt. Laurel, NJ, a daughter, Michelle of Allentown, a sister, Josie Jabeir, of Easton, a brother, Joseph Jabeir and his wife, Donna, of Easton, “Aunt Nora” Daniel, of Forks Township nephews, Joey Jabeir and his children, Rachel, Maggie and JoJo, a niece, Barbara Ernst and her husband, Eric and their daughter, Emma, many cousins and her “adopted sisters”, Blanche Draggotta, Charmaine Wallesea and Cheffee Melhem.  A brother, Mitch Jabeir, died in 2002.

Services: A Divine Liturgy was held Thursday, May 28. in Our Lady of Lebanon Church, 4th and Ferry Sts., Easton.  The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough is in charge of arrangements. Prayer of the Incense was held.  Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery.
