Clarence Stahl  

   Clarence R. "Dick" Stahl, Jr.

Born on February 23rd, 1926 in Hallton, Pa he was a son of the late Clarence R. Stahl Sr. and the late Lucy Geer Stahl.

Mr. Stahl was a member of the Navy serving in World War II in the Pacific. He was retired from Tarkett Corporation in Whitehall, Pa. He worked as a chemist and was the head of the company's lab. Previous to that he was employed at GAF in Wayne, NJ also as a chemist. Clarence was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Easton, Pa, a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, a graduate of Lafayette College Class of 1951, as well as the American Chemical Society, the Fleas Club and Citizens Hose.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi Ruth Jacob Stahl; a sister Eldean Zimmerman of Florida; and many nieces and nephews who loved him like a father. Surviving In-laws would be Joseph and Elaine Jacobs and Lorraine and Steve Goldstein. Mr. Stahl was predeceased by two sisters and their husbands, Rose Whipple and her husband Arnold and Kay Stahlman and her husband Jack. He was also predeceased by in-laws Adeline and Victor Karam, Emily Jacob, Antoinette and Joseph Sergei and James Zimmerman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4th St., Easton on Saturday March 14, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer Township, Pa. Calling hours will be held at the church on Friday evening March 13, 2009 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. with the Service of the Incense at 8:30.
